Thursday Sept 7^th

We were up bright and early and by 7:45 Gary and I were on the road heading toward the nearby Thousand Island's Bridge to the USA.  There was a very short line at the border and traffic was light.  Gary dropped me off at the Syracuse Airport at about 9:45 and headed off to Costco to pick up a Disney Christmas Train I've been longing for.

Meanwhile, I checked in for my flight to Orlando.  Jet Blue flight #655 left on time at 11:30 and the flight was smooth.  I was travelling with only a carry-on so I was able to whisk right past the baggage carousel in Orlando and my Lyft driver showed up in just a few minutes.

I was checked in at Disney's Contemporary Resort sooner than I had expected and my roommate Carrie wasn't going to arrive for hours so I hopped on the monorail and took a ride to The Magic Kingdom.

Wow . . . it was hot!
